What is Neeg Host?

Neeg Host is the party mode experience on Neegma. Instead of every player running the game on their own device, a single host controls the entire game from their screen while everyone else watches on a shared display — a TV, projector, or virtual screenshare.

It's built for in-person gatherings and live events where the energy is in the room.

How it works

  1. The host creates a Neeg Host session and sets up their game lineup
  2. Players join via link or QR code and enter their names
  3. The host starts the game and controls the pace
  4. Everyone watches the shared screen and interacts via their phones when prompted

What players do

Depending on the game, players might:

  • Submit text answers on their phone
  • Vote on other players' answers
  • Act, describe, or guess — with the host managing the flow

What the host does

The host controls:

  • When each round starts and ends
  • Moving to the next question or game
  • Revealing answers and scores
  • Pacing the experience for the room

Shared screen setup

The host's screen is what everyone watches. Options for sharing:

  • Cast to a TV via Chromecast, AirPlay, or HDMI
  • Share screen in a Zoom or Google Meet call
  • Project via laptop connected to a projector
