Neeg Host mode explained
Neeg Host is the party mode where one host controls the game on a shared screen while everyone watches and participates together.
How to cast to a TV, share your screen in Zoom or Google Meet, and set up a projector for in-person events.
In Neeg Host mode, everyone watches the host's screen. Getting this right makes the difference between a smooth event and a chaotic one. Here are the best setups for common situations.
The simplest and most reliable option. Connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. Set your display to mirror (not extend) so you see the same thing as the audience.
Open Chrome on your laptop, click the menu (three dots), and select Cast. Choose your Chromecast device. Works well for wireless setups.
On a Mac, click the AirPlay icon in the menu bar and select your Apple TV or compatible TV. On iPhone or iPad, swipe to open Control Centre and tap Screen Mirroring.
Connect via HDMI or use wireless display adapters (e.g. Miracast). Ensure the projector resolution is at least 1080p for clear text.
Start a Zoom call, click Share Screen, and select your browser window with Neegma open. Make sure Share computer audio is off unless you need it.
Click the arrow next to Present Now in the bottom bar, then select A window and choose your browser. Players join the Neegma session separately on their own devices.
Click Share in the meeting controls and select your Neegma browser window.
