Supported browsers and devices

Neegma runs on any modern browser across phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.

Browser support

Neegma runs entirely in the browser. No app installation is required for hosts or players.

Fully supported browsers

Not supported

  • Internet Explorer (any version)
  • Very old mobile browsers (Android 4.x WebView)

If a player's browser is too old, they will see a message asking them to update.

Device support

For players

Any smartphone or tablet with a supported browser works. Players only need to:

  • Open a link or scan a QR code
  • Type their name
  • Interact with on-screen prompts

For hosts

The host dashboard works on any modern device. For Neeg Host mode, we recommend using a laptop or tablet so you have a larger screen to control the game while players watch on the shared display.

Connection requirements

Neegma requires a stable internet connection. A standard 4G or Wi-Fi connection is sufficient. There is no offline mode.

Cookies and local storage

Neegma uses browser local storage to remember player names in Neeg Host sessions. Players returning to the same session will be recognised automatically. Clearing browser data will remove this.
